Since 1997 Nigel has worked as an independent strategy adviser, building unrivalled experience of working with chief executives at more than 50 publicly listed and privately owned companies, across many industry sectors, in several cases for more than ten years.

He also brings to bear twelve years investment banking experience advising on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions as a director of Schroders and as Head of Corporate Finance at Hambros, and an understanding of Government through an earlier Civil Service career, including as Private Secretary to the Home Secretary.

Nigel has served on the Boards of ten not-for-profit organisations, five times as Chair.  Until July 2024 he was Chair of Trustees at The Bishopsgate Institute.
